Stammering
Therapy for stammering is one of the speech therapy services I provide.
What is stammering?
For some people the fluent, easy flow of their speech is disrupted. This is usually referred to as stammering (also known as stuttering). It can sometimes be associated with muscle tensions in the face, neck and chest. People experiencing a stammer can often find their inability to get words out rapidly quite distressing. We specialise in working with adults who stammer.
Who do I arrange stammering therapy?
There is an open referral system for people who stammer. This means that anyone acting on behalf of the client can refer him or her, including the client themselves.
I provide stammering therapy adults and children.
Please feel free to contact me for advice.
