Dr Graham Williamson BSc MSc MEd PhD DMS
I’m a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist with experience of the UK National Health Service, commercial sector and independent practice. I’ve worked extensively with people with learning disabilities and those with voice difficulties.
One of my many interests is the promotion of the understanding of human communication among non-specialists and so I set up the Speech Therapy Information and Resources (STIR!) website in February 2009.
I’m interested in life-long learning, folk music and I’m just trying my hand at photography.
I live in the north-east of England with my wife Margaret, a university lecturer in Modern British History. We have three children: Dan is a cancer geneticist who’s interested in photography and Kathryn is a dentist; Adam died in 1990.
